Grape Hyacinths

These little beauties are brigthening our garden in the rain. We were lucky to find a 40-minute window to go for a walk, and only got spat upon a little just before we got home.

Today is Mr PP's birthday. (He's a good bit older than his new hip which is celebrating its 3-week birthday today!) I baked him a chocolate cake, with butter-cream filling and melted chocolate on top. Though I say it myself, it was delicious - and will live to fight another day, doubling up as an Easter Cake!
