How Fecken Stupid

We went and visited SWMBO's younger sister this morning - to give her a gift for the newest member of the extended family up in Inverness (she is heading up on Tuesday) ........ and to see how her husband is doing (he had a second minor heart attack a few days ago). Fine is the answer to that.

We then went for a stroll round the shops and a bite of lunch before heading to Penicuik for a catch-up with my sister and wish her a Happy Birthday.
My word the traffic was heavy - as was the weather. (There is a range of hills out there somewhere)
But at least the sign was clearly visible.

From today there are no trains on the Edinburgh to Glasgow line through the south end of Livingston for the next 10 days while they rebuild the station.
Instead there are buses - which sit for a fair time........waiting.
But they have put the temporary bus stop in what has to be the most stupid spot.
What you can't see past the bus is the crossing, the nursery school, the dentist's, the vet's and the two road junctions.
