Padstow

I'm really behind with the blips, so this is 5 days late being posted!

Having left Godrevy yesterday, we headed to Padstow and on arrival the heavans opened....its not too impressive in the rain. But today the rain stopped about noon and we jumped on the local bus to the centre. Padstow ( most of which appears to be  owned by Rick Stein) is OK if you like loads of designer shops which have taken over the place...but I am not a good window shopper - and all we wanted was  newsagent, which sadly it lacks.  We jumped on the Rock Ferry, a 10 minute ride to the beautiful Rock, long sadly beach, where at this time of the year R. can be walked. Gordon Ramsay has apparently bought a house there. We headed back at the end of the afternoon , frozen and fairly drenched.
