Val d’Orcia
After a difficult night and not a good start in the morning, I escaped to the nice part of Tuscany: Val d’Orcia. I have visited many times, but each one is different, as the landscape in this part of the country changes continuously, mainly depending on the cultivations. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great and the light for the pictures was dusty and dull.
I explored three different places, two completely new to me: Montefollonico (new), Pienza (old), Sant’Antimo (new).
The main picture is a view from Pienza. In the extra there’s a very old olive tree and a view of the abbey of Sant’Antimo, for my photography teacher, John Gravett.
