Mr & Mrs Tuftie
After finishing the cleaning this morning, I had an afternoon with the birds.
These tufted ducks were a pair from a whole flock at Spike Island - about 15 of them - I guess they think there is safety in numbers.
I keep thinking that one day I will come across the kingfisher or the kestrel again if I go often enough, but so far have not been successful.
I took a drive over the Pennington Flash afterwards, but there was not much about apart from the usual woodland birds - nice to see all the same.
Now to make tomorrow's dessert - lemon meringue ice cream - it takes all of 15 minutes and always goes down well :)
