Easter - Day 1
Today is the start of Easter, the ancient celebration of spring and fertility known as Ostara (hence rabbits and eggs I guess!), though you wouldn't know it with the distinct non-spring weather. It's also the first day of the Christian remembrance of the crucifix and resurrection.
Easter occurs on different dates which is chosen to correspond with the first Sunday following the full moon after the March equinox. Although a bank holiday most shops remain open, including Morrison's where we bought some bits and pieces after having a coffee at Nero.
So with a nod to the goddess Eostre here's a spring bunny with a couple of eggs.
