I found a box ...

...of unfinished encaustic wax paintings on paper I was doing last year.

I hadn’t finished these because I liked where they were going, but I didn’t have the confidence at the time to put on those finishing strokes, which wouldn’t have taken long, just moments.

Had no blip for tonight, so got the box out, they are mostly 6 inches by 4 inches on photography paper. And I am putting them through a couple of photography apps.

So this is the first one. I put it through reflection app and Snapseed.

But I am falling asleep as I am doing it. I started at 7 pm, and spent more time falling asleep than doing it. At this rate it will be gone midnight and I won’t have finished.

So posting the pic how I got it to after the last sleep.

When I get the encaustic iron out again I will attempt to finish them with the encaustic iron....
