Fond Memories

Today has been full of fond memories,both recent memories and those long gone ones, where we used to go to the seaside with mum and spend our pennies in the machines trying to knock other coins off the shelf, and eating fish and chips on the sea front. Donkey rides and sand castles, digging holes so deep we buried each other in them. 
Then the recent memories of visits to foreign lands and meeting amazing people and collecting pebbles on the beech down in Hokitika. 
Its been a bit of a sad last seven days, a colleague at work lost her only daughter, one of our next door neighbours from childhood who we grew up with also lost his troubled life, and then this morning learnt of a very dear friend from NZ also had  sadly passed away.
So todays blip is dedicated to three lost souls but never forgotten, all three had the dragon in them in one way or another, C had the fire in her, C's mother once said he had dragon's blood in his veins and then there was D, who loved dragons so much she was nicknamed Dragon. RIP all three of you :(
