Taking flight

The grandchildren have been over for lunch with their dad but they've gone home now and peace reigns again.

I've been experimenting with shutter priority and have found it much better to sit outside to take pictures of the birds, although the light hasn't been very good today.  I noticed that the Siskin taking flight has been ringed.

The extra was taken by our six year old grandson, using my Olympus with the 40-150mm lens.  He's done a good job.
