St Mungo Saturday #4
The Molendinar Burn was the site of the settlement that grew to become the kernel of Glasgow, and where St Mungo founded his church in the 6th century. It still runs under the streets of Glasgow, only to appear above ground in a few places.
Today, Molendinar Street, in the oldest part of Glasgow, gives us a modern day clue to it's hidden existence, following the burn's course for a few hundred yards as it makes it's way to the Clyde.
