The older city wall and less old wall
leading up to the castle in Conegliano, our third visit this time for lunch and a hot chocolate drink for afters. The chocolate was every bit a good as remembered from two weeks ago. It’s not milky, more like chocolate that’s heated with a thinner added, possibly water or milk. And when I say drink, we used the teaspoon to scoop it up.
A pleasant ride into town on the bus, we bought a few things we didn’t know we needed from one of those shops that pulled us in, kitchen ware and all things related. The small coffee cups and saucers are wonderful, a silly price and fine so long as we don’t have people (in the van) for coffee. Also a milk pan and a stopper for a prosecco bottle. It’s now pouring but warmer than recent days. The cats are lovely with the youngsters playing mad leaping games.
