If you go down in the woods today....

.......you might meet these charming young women, and you would definitely learn about the woodland pastures. I was on a day course in Geltsdale organised by the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We had an inspirational tutor who is passionate about these woods.

After a morning of theory we went to this woodland and saw all we had heard about just in front of our eyes. The weather was perfect. It was a delight to see all the ancient trees. I thought it was a wonderful celebration of ageing.

Then to J's for a lovely meal - such an excellent cook who makes it all look effortless too - and to do the simple job of downloading files from her old computer onto an external hard drive. The computer could not/would not recognise the drive so the job could not be done. I did set up her new wireless printer for her - an easy task. Thanks J for a lovely evening (and the chocs!)
