Moody modern

We met up with my youngest today who moved to London a few weeks ago. We decided to show him a few haunts, so went to Borough Market, then Tate Modern for lunch. We went into the new Blavatnik extension and up to the 10th floor viewing platform for a different view of London. After that we walked along the South Bank and up the Strand to Trafalgar Square to see the new Fourth Plinth. After that we headed back to Liverpool St, and parted , having walked nearly 9 miles. All was going well on the journey home until the trains terminated at the station before ours, and with not a bus running or taxi to be had we had another 3.5 miles home! A long day but chilling now with my feet up.
