Resting Up For Big Day

Our son has used this persona for over six years. He started out as a joke on the Strip and it morphed into working at a club, being "The Party Animal" to keep the energy up.

Tomorrow, he will be at the Hard Rock pool party working the crowd. The more exciting news...he will be the opening DJ before he dons the bunny suit. It will be nice to have him here for a few days.

I spent the morning working in the yard. Cutting back the gopher plants is a dreaded job. They "bleed" a white, sticky milk when cut. I am letting them bleed out before gathering them up. 

I am grateful for the warm weather that has finally come. Still checking on the pray mantis, but have not seen any activity.
