Talent show finals

D was selected to be in the talent show finals playing “flower of Scotland” on his cornet. He was really nervous before hand but did a really good job on stage. As always the singers win these things, even tho they sing along to a recording. I never quite get how they choose them. Still he enjoyed doing it and given he wouldn’t perform in front of an audience a few weeks ago I was very glad for him that it went well.
I felt all emotional about so many of the acts - esp when children who’s parents are no longer around are performing, they were brilliant too.
