My sister’s old doll.

My niece’s most favorite toy is her mother’s (my sister) old doll. I do not know why. It is almost scary but even I can remember it’s old good days.
My aunt had brought it from Germany about forty years ago when people were not able to afford these kind of toys in Turkey. I used to play with it when my sister let me. My mom had knitted a new dress for it and my father fixed her legs and arms.
I had good time with family and also completed advanced life support course in 9 Eylul University in izmir. 9 September is considered a local holiday commemorating the Liberation of İzmir (Smyrna). The Turkish capture of Smyrna was the final phase of the Great Offensive and last conflict of the Turkish War of Independence in World War I.
