Nesting

Bearing in mind it is Easter Sunday, I suspect my Blip is rather more Old Testament than New given it is a dove carrying a twig, albeit not an olive branch. He was working hard this morning; he spent well over an hour flying down into the garden, selecting dead twigs and attempting to pluck off some live ones, before taking them away to his nest which he is constructing just outside our bathroom window. Bearing in mind that most of his selections came from the lavender bed, I think he will have a very fragrant nest and Mrs Dove will be quite relaxed.
