I've been looking at the palm tree for awhile now. I love how graceful and delicate the frond is in the late afternoon sunlight. But the photographs I took of it in the past just never captured what I saw. I think that the bright greens and blues of the plant obscured the inter-beauty of the palm frond. But today I decided to do a monochrome study, an almost clinical point of view. I think I managed to reproduce what my minds eye was trying to seeing. I hope?
