Still functional

Despite being damaged. (My response to this week's challenge word set by blast)

No morning run today as two boys do not know how to sleep later than 0600 am. An early start on coffee, newspaper and muesli. After they were collected S and I packed up the new chairs and our bags for the weekend and headed north, arriving to the offer from daughter J of a bowl of vegetable soup. Fabulous.

The afternoon has been wonderfully sunny and warm; shirt off weather as I sat meandering through some puzzles in the Weekly Guardian. Finally went out for a run, and came across this seemingly pointless, but still working, bridge which has suffered some damage over its years of existence. The land beyond it is in the process of being developed for more housing.
