March 31st Moonrise 7.50pm

A showery day but very relaxing and enjoyable just the same.  We went for a drive to where the Heaphy Track starts.  It is a well known walk of 78km to the West Coast.  It listed as an advanced grade 4 mountain bike ride.  I'm not up to walking or riding it but I did walk to the first bridge across the Brown River. (extra) It was light rain so I just snapped.  The bach we stayed at has the beach at the bottom of the lawn.  It was enchanting to sit and watch the moon rise above sea.
