Golden Dawn....

Rather than walk our usual route and risk Maisie’s curly coat picking up more weedy seed-heads she and I walked the paths in the more urban stretches of the Taylor River early this morning. The grass has been mown in this area so there are not so many pesky weeds. The stream on the right is Doctor’s Creek almost at the confluence with the bigger Taylor River. The dawn sky was red before we left home but by the time we were walking the clouds in the east towards the rising sun had turned to shades of gold..... a lovely sight.
