The Island of Manisty and the epic ascent of its peak of 29 metres, by 9 intrepid mountaineers .
Well, it wasn't quite that good. but it was great fun.
Mount Manisty is a man made island for the most part, in the Mersey Estuary and is only accessible by boat these days, so RHB group arranged a short boat trip accordingly.
