Cecily

I spent all of yesterday afternoon sewing the pieces of Cecily together and stuffing her. The stuffing is slightly lumpy, especially in her trunk, which was quite difficult. Although I am very pleased with her, Dougal is not. Last night her would not sit on my lap as the elephant was on the chair arm; he glared at it and walked off in a huff. Today he has got used to it and it does not bother him as much. Now I have to find somewhere for it to sit permanently.

It has rained during the night and continues to do so this morning.
