Godley bridge Halifax
the old stone bridge erected when the godley cutting was made in 1830 ( which is the a58 now)was replaced by the present iron bridge which opened on 26th June 1900. The new bridge was higher and allowed trams to pass beneath. The bridge was designed by the Borough Engineer, E. R. S. Escott
