Day 3

We all started at the pool today. Sun bathing is not my thing but it is quite fun when there are a bunch of you. What a luxury simple sunshine is to us northerners, sheer delight!
A trip to Cala Figuera was decided on; a very picturesque little fishing village with houses and fishing boats clinging to the sides of a deep narrow cove. We had coffees and were just in time to see the fishing boats coming in a landing an amazing variety of fishy delights.
We walked round the cove snapping like papperazzi and as the day was ending drove up the coast to a local nature reserve and lovely beach - Cala Mondrego - where the braver among us had a wee swim.
