Alan Turing

It is Matt's birthday today and my Dad's 22nd anniversary.  It was too miserable to do anything outside so we decided to visit Bletchley Park as we hadn't been for many years.

The place has changed a great deal, much updated and with lots of interesting exhibit.  I'm not sure I totally understand how the Bombe or Enigma machines really work but the generally gist!

This is a slate statue of Alan Turing, which is very tactile (although you can't actually touch it!)  Bletchley Park Mansion is an amazing place too, beautiful wooden panels and carvings.

Well worth a visit if you are ever near.
