Rain, Rain, Rain

We went to York Designer Outlet this morning - arriving just after 10 and it wasn’t busy! We were on the hunt for some cheap Easter Chocolate.

Mrs madwill headed off to Hotel Chocolat whilst I went to get the coffees in at Starbucks. She got a few bargains and the we went for a wander and happened to stop off at Thorntons and got a HUGE egg for £8 - reduced from £20 - that should keep us going a couple of days at least.

Failed in a hunt for some walking boots for Mrs madwill - the ones she really liked in Craghoppers they didn’t have in her size…

We left just after noon and the car park was absolutely jammed - and big queues on the A64 to get into the place. Glad we went early.

The rain eased a bit mid afternoon so I took Finlay out as he was nagging. He wasn’t impressed, even with his jacket on.

The water was overflowing from the fields and across the footpath / cycleway. Gave my new boots a good waterproofing test through this flood and they passed.
