Littlestone

Had a decent lie-in this morning, after our late night, then ventured down to breakfast with Richard and Cris - lots of delicious pastries and smoked salmon (for me, bacon for the others).  We hung out at their house for a while (had a look around the garden) and then we all drove over to Littlestone for a walk on the beach with their new puppy, Franklin (a very sweet golden retriever).  Had quite a long ramble along the coast and back again - and the sun broke out for a while, which was lovely.

Back to theirs for a late lunch and a chilled out afternoon, then we headed over to their local church, where Cris was singing in an Easter service, and where Tim and Richard engaged in a bit of pyrotechnics (lighting a beacon thing outside for part of the service).  Came back to theirs again for a late - and delicious - dinner of chicken cacciatore and a couple of drinks.  Lovely day :)
