Stop off for lunch....

...by the beach today. SweetArt has been determined to have a Shawarma every day while she is in Dubai! Today we all enjoyed one  (each.) made while we waited and very nice too. I wanted to show the beautiful Volvo we used this week, belonging to GK, and the gorgeous petunia flower borders. Dubai has the most amazingly well kept floral displays everywhere!

We then went on to a Garden Centre where GK chose a standard Bougainvillea shrub, our birthday gift to her. It even fitted into the boot of the Volvo.

Then to eat our last meal here.... This time at The Boardwalk, right by the waterside. Beautiful. 

The airport bit was easy as we had been checked in online. The saying good bye was harder. It's been a wonderful holiday. We have been spoilt by GK and G and treated to some beautiful places. GK's birthday celebrations were really happy. So good to see SweetArt too and I look forward to seeing her and Martin here in UK in May, when they will be staying with us. 

My extra is just an indulgence. Taken this morning by the Galleria pool on the roof of our hotel with magnificent views over the creek and Deira.
