Cakes

We have a great tradition for birthdays at work; everyone gathers in the birthday person's office to sing to them, while presents are opened and they are quizzed on their birthday celebration plans. My wonderful assistant Cathy was celebrating a certain birthday over the weekend and brought in a vast selection of gorgeous cakes.
I was encouraged (go on, twist my arm!) to take some home; being home alone with Richard working away 2 nights a week, and son in Malawi, I invited some girlfriends round who helped demolish the cake, over several cups of tea. We are so rock and roll.
