Back from the allotment, frozen to the core. Me, not the allotment which is in reasonably good shape considering. The forecast was terrible for the whole week apart from this morning so off I went. Still no compost arrived unfortunately but at least another bed is now turned over and the last and smallest one has had the couch grass and other undesirables dug out, so I just need an hour or so to get it ready for planting. Not today though, by lunchtime I just couldn't stand the cold wind any longer and when the sleet started enough was enough. Can we please have some warm, spring sunshine?
