Easter Monday View

I haven't had the Easter weekend that was intended.  The plan was to go down to Sandside in Cumbria with my friend, Katherine, who lives in Salford.  She's been really poorly though, ending up in hospital at the beginning of the week, so we cancelled.

It has been a nice few days off, though, with some walks, some horsing and even a very small amount of DIY.  The last day started with a ride at Crookston first thing.  It was PERISHING cold.  We only road along the Manor road a short distance before accepting that it was too cold and the snow/hail was too unpleasant so we turned back (into the wind.. argh).  It was good to get out though, and it meant that I had done something with the day, the rest of which was spent being very lazy, listening to the radio and reading.  Also a fair bit of time watching the sleet from my window.  It gradually got more snowy and had started to stick by late afternoon.  To be honest, I don't know where the time went, and now it's back to work.
