Bird spotting

It was lovely to have an 'extra' day off today so I took advantage of the time and took the pics T & H sent to the framers.  I'm excited about what they'll look like when they're done :D  

Drove then out to the Boulder Bank where I settled to a bit of bird watching.  For the life of me I can't remember the name of these gulls, but I do find myself totally fascinated by them.  This is almost the shot I was after - just wanted him to be closer to the camera and looking me square in the eye!  I'll have to spend more than just an hour with them next time.....
