Tiny Tuesday

This is a terrible photo, but really exciting for me to see on our lake!

There were several common Mergansers on our lake for the past couple of days, and the only way I could tell what they are is with a digital telephoto zoom on my cheaper camera, so this is the best I could do as they stay on the other end of our lake away from houses.

I thought I recognized the female with her shaggy brown head, but she never came close enough for a clear shot (extra).  They have never stopped here before, so what a treat to see them!

Thank you to everyone for the wonderful birthday wishes, stars and hearts yesterday!   It was a great day, but it really would be impossible to top last year, so we didn't try!
