7.20am - Harbour

5.0C and cloudy with some showers and a period of heavy rain through the middle of the day. Easterly wind to 21 mph with gusts to 30 mph.

About 2pm when the rain went off a bit Fergus and I went for a walk round the harbour, along the shore path in the park, then out Kilkerran road. There was some seaweed from yesterday's overtopping waves on the path and the grass in the park.

In the harbour P273 HMS Pursuer, an Archer-class P2000 patrol and training vessel of the British Royal Navy, has been in the marina for a couple of days. Sordyroy (Kristiansund) was at the new quay this morning.

This afternoon the cargo ships Amanda and Liva Greta were at the new quay. Sheet steel was being unloaded from Amanda onto long low loaders.
