Confolens

We drove through heavy rain down to Confolens to overnight on a site that we haven't stayed on before.  Very simple, by the river, flat and quiet, just as we like it.  The rain stopped as we arrived and we even managed a half hour sit in the (cool) sun with a glass of wine.  From here it is a four hour trip tomorrow down to the house.  With the amount of rain there has been, goodness knows how long the grass will be!
