Catkins

These catkins that are just appearing are on a variegated willow.  I keep it  clipped back as a bush and I don't know how tall it would grow if it were left to itself.
Today is another with a cold wind and, although it did not freeze last night, the daffodils are still struggling to recover. I think they will though, if we let well alone!
