Happy homecoming Beth!

Two years down the road and....... She's built like a tank and runs like a cheetah..... can do a graceful gazelle-like 180 turn at high speed to outwit Max when they play chase.....frequently loses herself in her own muddy puddle play...has a signature move of bouncing on all fours like tigger.......loves lounging with Tess and scolding Max in equal measure and preferably at the same time... hides her head under a paw or shamelessly gives you paws in apology if she's been naughty..... is fiercly protective of Thumper and pretends to be a cat in his company.....smiles in the morning and does fantastic boops to our snoots as a greeting.....talks to us with a waggy tail and snap chats, presenting a tummy for ticking daily.....responds to chubby wrinkles, teddy bear, B, Beth, Betty, chicken nugget or loaf....worships at the altar of Grandma and Granda with their pockets of infinite dog treats.

Two years ago today, Beth came home to live with us. A rescue dog so scared of every human, I think she has taken this full two years to realise she is safe, this is home, and it's for keeps. The four of us became her pack and Max became her bestie straight away, but it took a fair bit of cheese and a number of repeat visits for her to trust others. But when she does trust you, prepare to be smothered with love. Chubby wrinkle hairy love.
