THE CHARANGO AGAIN

This one's the real deal. It was built in Bolivia in 1981 when it was still legal to use the carapace of the armadillo for the bowl of the instrument. These days it would be about as legal as poached rhinoceros horn.

There's quite a bit of work to do here - the table which is paper thin, is in a bit of a mess. On the plus side, it makes a truly wonderful sound!
