Although Hurricane Sandy has passed, it is still affected Haiti.

The government declared today to be a public holiday. Meaning that the office was closed.
However the country is strongly affected by the consequences of the hurricane, so we managed to get some assessment teams out into our operational areas.

This picture is was taken by one of the assessment teams, reflecting the main problem: water, water, water and more water which has flooded large parts of the country.

The rain hasn't stopped yet, so we're hoping to get a better image of the situation tomorrow. So far it's been raining 3 days straight.
