Looking at you now, you would never know

Have you heard Wires by Athlete? I heard it today.

It's a tremendous song but I can't listen to it without my stomach churning and my eyes welling up. It's the bit where he sings 'Looking at you now, you would never know'. That's how I feel about youngest. He wasn't rushed to a special care unit when he was born like in the song, but when I was in the early stages of pregnancy we were told he wouldn't survive the pregnancy or if he did he would die shortly after. They did a lot of completely horrible tests to confirm their convictions. The tests didn't confirm their convictions and I carried on with the pregnancy never quite knowing for sure if he'd be okay. But he was okay. He was perfect.

And he still is.
