Aloe

The exposure's not quite right, and the depth of field is as elusive as ever, but this is about the best of a few photos I took of this aloe. I was surprised it was not all a bit out of focus as I'd forgotten to turn image stabilisation off (using a tripod). The spotted surface of the leaves looks out of focus in reality anyway, so adds to the general fuzziness of things. No matter - I like the bit which is flaring in the centre foreground and the leaves going all over the place. The plant is headed for the greenhouse and some restorative surgery as it's too top-heavy now. I'll try one or two more photos before then.
