Wet Wide Wednesday

The weather forecast was not good for this morning - so when it's wet, I thought, photograph the rain!  The M5 motorway runs quite close to where we are staying this week and there is a footbridge that goes over it.  I went that way this morning and stood on the middle of the bridge to get some wide shots of traffic and spray; to be honest, I could have done with more rain and more traffic!  I especially like this particular shot with lorries travelling in opposite directions.

This afternoon my daughters and I sneaked away for a champagne afternoon tea  (extra) in Taunton - no men and no children!  Very enjoyable and a thoughtful Mother's Day present.
