Look at who came a calling

was awakened this morning by a Pheasant sat on next doors garage roof shouting his head off. Managed to get this shot of him through the landing window. I've seen him before in the garden and hear him quite often but not seen a mate for him.

Another on and off rainy day but managed a nice walk on Springhead Park with Molly whilst out shopping and a walk in the fields with the other two, the  usually non existent stream which was once the leat  (or water  overflow stream) from the colliery was running very fast with all the rain we have had 
Then to top that we've ad another burst water main at the bottom of the street with the road collapsing again but in a different place so diversions are once again in place.  We were indicating to turn left when this car shot past us nearly plowing into the Large Orange Barrier then swinging round and overtaking us on the corner, good job there wasn't a bus or car there or there would have been a big bump
