Pianos
Fifteen pianos which were destined for the scrap heap have been given a new lease of life as public art on the streets of Cambridge. We came across one today on our way to see children's author Andy Stanton, who was here as part of the Festival of Ideas.
I struggled to play"Chinese Chopsticks", the only tune I can remember from my 35 years ago piano lessons. However, we soon got chatting to this little family, who could play many more things, much better.
What a great inspired idea.
Andy Stanton was fabulous too!
