Sleet

After watching the sleet coming down this morning, and being the gentleman that I am, I gave S a lift into work and saved her getting a soaking. Got to be worth a brownie point or two. It stayed miserable all day so I stayed in and mostly read, finishing off both books I had on the go. One was set in Venice and the other in the Hebrides so it was a nice contrast programme.
We nipped out to the pictures tonight intending to see Isle of Dogs but it was sold out. That's a first for us at Ocean Terminal but the cinemas there have less seats now that they're all recliners. Humph. Anyway we saw Game Night instead. Not bad, we both enjoyed it. Still want to see Isle of Dogs though.
