Cosmic Egg

When I braved the elements this morning, I noticed this rainbow on the asphalt road.  So I brought it in and warmed it up. (Unfortunately, it was probably caused by someone leaking gas or oil. )

North wind blows
howls and growls
bites my cheek, stings my eyes
snow shards slant down like Indian arrows
rafters rattle, doors slam shut
garbage cans rumble and tumble
puddles jump out of their holes
sticks and leaves ride high then scatter
 
Outside the world is shaking
but if I’m not mistaken
it’s warm inside
so I’ll go there
