On your marks!

Went to my sailing lesson today. Fortunately it was cancelled because it was too windy with an onshore wind (which makes launching very difficult) I have to say I was quite relieved as it was very cold and I didn't fancy a capsize. There was ice on the boat covers!
However there was a training course for up and coming junior sailors in the Laser class. Oh to be young again and not feel the cold. This is them on the startline.

Some sailing does continue through winter. Variously known as "frostbite" or "brass monkey" series. I will not be part of these. The boat is now packed away till next year.
