Sheep

I walked along. the Crater Rim walkway from Mt Pleasant to the Sign of the Kiwi this afternoon, and back along the road.  It is beautifully quiet up there at present because the road is open only to walkers and cyclists, as it hasn't been fully repaired since the earthquake.  I encountered walkers as I passed the Bridle Path and Rapaki Track, but other than that I shared the area with just a few cyclists and a handful of cars that ventured along from the Sign of the Kiwi to Rapaki, where the road is closed.  I am rather hoping that it stays this way!
