Cuteness

Little Miss and I volunteered at an animal shelter this morning. We were there from 9 am until 1 pm. If I’m honest, the first hour was kind of awkward, with us helping out where we could and stroking cats through the bars of their cages.

Once we got into the swing of things, we began to notice what needed to be done, and worked out where things were.

We did a photo shoot with a very big and very lively Great Dane cross. Little Miss modelled with him to show what a big softie he was. We cleaned up inordinate amounts of cat poop and got to cuddle the gorgeous kittens.

We had a good time, and felt as if we made a contribution.

After not sleeping last night, I was happy to go to bed very early. I am feeling the beginnings of Little Miss’ virus and need to shake it before the weekend.
